Winter Stinks for Those Who Don’t Own Pickup Trucks with Fuel Forged Wheels and Nitto Ridge Grappler Tires

20th Oct 2016

Yes, we know it’s only October, but make no mistake about it, winter is coming and for those who live in areas where snow, wind and ice will plague them for several months, we are sorry. As the pleasantly cool breezes of fall make way for the freezing gusts of snow-drenched winds of November, December, January and February we are reminded about one thing, winter sucks.

And winter really sucks for those who don’t own pickup trucks with Fuel Forged wheels and Nitto Ridge Grappler tires. Yeah, good luck getting through the snow in that Hyundai Elantra.

Want to know more reasons why winter sucks? Here are just a few to whet your appetite for the things that will soon be here.

Cold

That’s right, it's cold in the winter. We aren't talking about “gee I need to put a hoodie on” kind of cold we are talking a “holy batfish I need to layer another parka over my parka which is over my hoodie which is over my sweater which is over my shirt which is over my thermal underwear” kind of cold.

Falls

Everything freezes in the winter, even the sidewalks, streets, parking lots and staircases, which means there is a lot of slipping and the inevitable falling. And for those of us who weren't gifted with really good coordination or who aren't very sure-footed, winter is our mortal enemy and tries to kill us every chance it gets.

Cold

It’s cold in the winter, Yes, we know we already mentioned that, just seeing if you are actually reading this.

Dark

The days in the winter are short, very short. In fact, there will be a stretch when you get to work and it’s dark and when you leave work it’s dark.

Cooped Up

If you own a car, like a Hyundai Elantra, four feet of packed snow on the roads is going to keep you a slave to your home. And if you do dare to venture out, you will discover that the roads are filled with all sorts of fools who think they have plenty of distance to stop at that intersection, only they are wrong. Too bad they only realize this after sliding through and nearly plucking off six other cars.

Up Early

In the winter, you have to get up even earlier for work as not only do you have to spend time scraping ice from your windshield, hazardous weather conditions make morning commute even that much longer.

Everything Breaks

Everything breaks in the winter. Your water pipes freeze and break, wreaking havoc in your basement and tree branches break and fall on your roof, breaking your roof in the process.

If you are in the market for truck wheels, BB Wheels is where you need to be.
