Iris: As smooth as they come - The Iris shroud is a clean way to cover up. This instant classic is inspired by the Volkswagen Tiguan. Iris is all about adding a clean and clutter-free style to your retrofit. They feature a textured black lip that surrounds the glass projector lens on the inside, surrounded by a perfectly smooth vacuum metalized chrome finish. In Comparison: Don't make the mistake of thinking all shrouds are created equal. Even though less expensive alternatives may be available elsewhere: Morimoto shrouds are made from the highest quality plastic and have by far the most durable metalized chrome finishes. The cheapo's out there are flimsy enough to deform from the heat just a 35W HID bulb, and their chrome finish easily flakes off. A or B: At our shop, we're also meticulous with quality control. If a shroud has a minor factory defect; we sell it at a discount as a "B stock" unit - which is perfect for budget retrofits or when painting them is part of the plans. If you won't settle for anything less than perfect and plan to leave them chrome; go for the "A Stock" Shrouds. Mounting: Centric Rings are not included by default, but are highly recommended to improve ease of installation on many projectors.
