(Featuring technology patented by Morimoto) Superior Beam Quality: The advanced Aluminum Nitride Ceramic circuit board in the center of the 2S4 sets allows the bulbs to produce the most precise beam pattern possible, with its 1.45mm surface-emission interval. For reference, the tungsten filament in a halogen bulb is 1.4mm, and the previous record for an LED bulb was 2.0mm, set by the outgoing 2Stroke 3.0 bulb! Using the industry-first ceramic PCB, we have eliminated the need for the dielectric layer and a separate thermal element, which, in combination with the Osram Oslon HJL531.TE LED chips makes for unmatched performance when used in all reflector and projector-based headlights designed for halogen bulbs. Integrated Micro-optic Reflector: The 2Stroke 4.0 H4 bulb has an innovative low beam shade cup with a built-in micro-optical reflector inside that enables their ability to illuminate reflector surfaces above the bulb. In a typical H4 application, only about 30% of the raw lumens are projected on the road as forward illumination. With this special optic, about 40% of the lumens will be projected onto the road. The region of the reflector directly above the bulb is responsible for a critical amount of light within the beam pattern, making this patented feature a serious performance advantage over other H4 LED headlight bulbs.
