These go zero to full intensity in just 3.5 seconds! So good in fact that we've discontinued the old "FastBright" ballasts in their favor. Safe: Their external igniters and high voltage wiring is shielded to help mitigate EMI interference (radio static) so it's unlikely that these ballasts will disturb your afternoon rock block! Setup: Though light on their feet and drawing just 5A on start up, we highly recommend powering the SpeedyStarts with an HD Relay wire harness to ensure performance and longevity. AMP Only: The SpeedyStart is only available with AMP Male/Female outputs, but can easily be used with D2S bulbs with some AMP>D2S Adapters.
