There is Really No Good Reason Why You Shouldn’t Slap Those New Nitto Terra Grappler G2 Tires on a Set of Stylish Alloy Rims

When it comes to the best ways to spruce up your vehicle, changing out those drab stock rims for some sweet alloy wheels, like these Ultra Trooper wheels, is certainly atop the list. Since these wheels are manufactured with aluminum, they are stronger and also provide better braking and acceleration. So there is really no good reason why you shouldn’t slap those new Nitto Terra Grappler G2 tires on a set of stylish alloy rims. But remember, in order to keep your ride looking swag, you will have to keep those alloy wheels nice and clean. And don’t think a quick trip through an automated car wash will do the trick. Here is the proper way to clean your awesome alloy wheels.

The first thing you will want to do is select a nice, pleasant day to clean your wheels. Really, nobody wants to scrub wheels when the temperature is in single digits. Besides, the water will freeze before it has a chance to actually clean anything. Start by cleaning your wheels with water, preferably through a device that will spray it in a powerful stream. This will get the bulk of the dirt, grime and brake dust off and help avoid scratching your wheels. Once this is complete, take a soft cloth or mitt and give your wheels a nice, gentle rubdown with hot, soapy water. It helps if you get a large cotton swab, this gives you the ability to reach those tight spots. When this is complete, thoroughly rinse your wheels and dry them with a soft cloth.

Remember, no matter how great your car or truck might look, it won’t look as good as it should if your alloy wheels are dirty.
