There are a lot of manly movies available to watch when you have that urge to watch a manly movie. Manly movies are labeled manly for any number of reasons. For example, most Arnold Schwarzenegger movies would qualify as being manly, except Kindergarten Cop of course. Any Chuck Norris movie is a manly movie as well as most Dolph Lundgren movies. So the star of a movie has a lot to do with how manly it is.

If a movie has a lot of things blowing up and other random violence, then it will probably be classified as a manly movie. Of course, the violence does need to be over-the-top and while that explosion sent flames 200 feet in the air, nobody was hurt. So a movie can be deemed manly if it has a lot of violence.

But the most manliest of manly movies will somehow find a way to feature a truck. We are talking awesome looking trucks, trucks with Moto Metal wheels and a killer paint job. We know you are eagerly waiting for us to get to the core of this article. So without further delay, here is a list of the manliest manly movies with trucks.

The Transformers is one of the manliest movies ever. Check it out, it has trucks, it has explosions and it has Megan Fox. And the cars and trucks in this movie aren’t just your everyday variety you see driving down the road, these trucks turn into something even better, Autobots and Decepticons. Way cool brother, way cool.

Road House is another manly movie that features trucks. In fact, the truck featured in the movie Road House is none other than an incarnation of Bigfoot, the most famous monster truck of them all. If Patrick Swayze didn't sport a mullet in the movie, it would have been even manlier.

The 1983 classic, Lone Wolf McQuade, was a manly movie based solely on the fact it starred Chuck Norris. But add in automatic weapons, explosions, a post-Kung Fu David Carradine and a supercharged Dodge Ramcharger and you have a movie that transcends manly movies.

You want to see trucks doing real bad things to the human population? Maximum Overdrive is a manly movie not only because of its excellent use of trucks but because of the things these trucks do. The best way to thoroughly enjoy this movie is by watching it at a drive-in sitting in your truck. We dare you.

Any Mad Max movie, except the Tina Turner vehicle Beyond Thunderdome, stands out as a great manly movie. It is just such a treat seeing what trucks will look like in the post-apocalypse. All trucks should be fitted with mounted four-bolt crossbows and cobras painted on the doors. The early Mad Max movies feature a pre-mulleted Mel Gibson, which adds to the manliness of the movies. And the newest Mad Max movie stars a mumbling Tom Hardy, but Charlize Theron steals the show with her mad driving skills and oddly sexy hairdo.

And there you have it, a list of the manliest movies that feature trucks. What manly movies have we missed?
