ARIES SlimGrip running boards combine rugged style and durable construction to make the perfect side step for any truck. They feature powder-coated aluminum construction, expanded metal treads, a sleek profile and angular end caps. They are also equipped with the VersaTrac system for easy customization, and each application installs with no drilling required (NOTE: Mounting brackets are not included with this particular package and must be purchased separately). Whether you use your truck for hard work, off-road fun or a little of both, SlimGrip running boards are up to the task. They are made with 5052 aluminum alloy to be strong, lightweight and highly resistant to corrosion. They are also coated in a textured black powder coat finish that not only enhances corrosion resistance but also helps hide minor scratches, scuffs and grime. For maximum traction on the trail or on the jobsite, each SlimGrip running board is built with expanded metal treads. These non-skid treads offer fleet-approved safety when entering or exiting your truck, and their metal design makes them highly durable. The open treads also allow dirt and snow to pass through, keeping the inside of your vehicle clean. In addition to safety, these aluminum running boards are also constructed to add an aggressive look to your truck. They feature a 4-3/4" width for a sleeker look compared to our Grip Step running boards, and the hardened ABS end caps are angled for a rugged finish. SlimGrip running boards are also fast and easy to install. They mount with the VersaTrac system, using a universal channel and vehicle-specific brackets for a custom fit (brackets not included). Each set installs with no drilling required, and the brackets allow any set of running boards or side steps with the VersaTrac system to be installed on the vehicle without any additional brackets or hardware. This makes installation simple and allows for further customization opportunities in the future.
