Q: When can I file a claim if I purchased guaranteed delivery shipping?

A: If the need to file a claim arises, follow the below timelines.

  • Lost (marked as stuck in transit) = file claims NO EARLIER than 7 days and no later than 30 days from the last scan update
  • Damaged = file claims WITH PHOTOS of the package and item NO LATER than 15 days from the delivery date
  • Stolen (marked as delivered) = file claims NO LATER than 15 days from the delivery date; items over $100 USD in value require a police report

Q: What if my order gets lost and never arrives?

A: We know how the shipping process goes, packages get lost at the hub, get stuck in transit, and at times get delivered to the wrong address. Fortunately, guaranteed delivery shipping can protect you from all these shipping fails. If you opted for this shipping add-on, you can file a lost package claim within 7 days of the last scan update. From there it won't take long for your claim to be reviewed.


Q: What if my order gets damaged in transit?

A: With guaranteed delivery shipping, the items in your order are protected against shipping damage = damage that prevents the item(s) from functioning properly. Added BONUS, when it comes to wheels, this shipping add-on also covers cosmetic damage to the front face and lip. If you opted for guaranteed delivery shipping, you can file a damaged package claim immediately upon receiving your order, just make sure to include photos of the packaging and the item(s). From there it won't take long for your claim to be reviewed.

Fortunately with guaranteed delivery shipping, stolen items - whether dragged away by the neighbor's dog or snatched by porch pirates - are covered and eligible for claims. If you opted for guaranteed delivery shipping, you can file a stolen package claim immediately upon the shipment being marked delivered, just keep in mind that items over $100 USD in value will require a police report. From there it won't take long for your claim to be reviewed.
